Particle Track Sixty-seven metal print by Scott Wallin. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Particle Track #67 is part of the Particle Track Series, it is a bright, energetic, colorful, vibrant, abstract work based on sub-atomic particle physics.
Made from an assortment of mixed media; charcoal, chalks, acrylic paints, fabric paints, soft pastels, inks, colored pencils, magic, nail polish, iridescent paints, metallic pigments, fluorescent paints, watercolors, and other media on a beautiful heavy Fabriano Artistico paper.
About Scott Wallin
Artist's Statement To purchase the original pieces please contact me directly. I have worked in fine arts from early childhood, I first began working in clay then expanded into painting and drawing. Later I studied at the University of Oregon and earned a Bachelor of Science and Fine Arts (Art History, Ceramics, and Pre-Med majors) at Portland State University. After graduating I worked in the graduate program at the Rhode Island School of Design. It was later, under the direction of such mentors as the artists Mel Katz and Laura Ross-Paul, that I began drawing the figure extensively. While attending university as an undergrad I had also been studying quantum physics, and in a number of the books photographic images of the "tracks"...
