Particle Track Fifty-eight metal print by Scott Wallin.   Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

Artist's Description

Particle Track #58 is a bright, energetic, colorful, vibrant, abstract work based loosely on sub-atomic particle physics.
Made from an assortment of mixed media; charcoal, chalks, acrylic paints, fabric paints, soft pastels, inks, colored pencils, magic, nail polish, iridescent gel paints, metallic pigments, fluorescent paints and other media on a beautiful heavy Arches Rives BFK printmakers paper.

Artist's Statement To purchase the original pieces please contact me directly. I have worked in fine arts from early childhood, I first began working in clay then expanded into painting and drawing. Later I studied at the University of Oregon and earned a Bachelor of Science and Fine Arts (Art History, Ceramics, and Pre-Med majors) at Portland State University. After graduating I worked in the graduate program at the Rhode Island School of Design. It was later, under the direction of such mentors as the artists Mel Katz and Laura Ross-Paul, that I began drawing the figure extensively. While attending university as an undergrad I had also been studying quantum physics, and in a number of the books photographic images of the "tracks"...
